Bath – Designated World Heritage Site

The roman city of Bath has many fascinating historical sites to see and visit, some dating back to the first century. The world famous roman baths are a “must see” for any visitor. As well as its history Bath has an abundance of designer shops and boutiques, with a wide and varied choice of restaurants, bistros and pubs. Bath city centre is just a 15 minute drive from the Chapel. Enjoy the great outdoors and explore the beautiful countryside surrounding Bath. The area offers something for everyone and is ideally situated as a touring base with the CotswoldsCheddar Gorgeand Stonehenge all within easy travelling distance.

Bristol – Historic Harbour City

Heading in the other direction for just 20 minutes will bring you to Bristol with it’s prosperous and vibrant city centre. Bristol’s rich heritage offers an enviable array of outstanding attractions. From Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s SS Great Britain to the exotic and rare species at Bristol Zoo Gardens. More recent attractions include one of Britain’s most “hands-on” science centres, the wonderful Explore-@-Bristol, which is located at the historic harbour side. Such is the diversity of attractions in Bristol you will need to plan your holiday well to make the most of it.

There are also many great day trips to be had. Wales and the Forest of Dean is can be visited within a comfortable day trip. The Chapel has excellent motorway links and for those wanting to visit the capital, London is only an hour and a half drive away.
