History of the Malthouse

Conversion of former Malthouse to provide four exclusive two bedroom contemporary homes. The Malthouse at Avonvale Place was one of two main brewing sites in Batheaston, working at a commercial scale, its likely that it was part of the Batheaston Brewery of 1792 to 1870 with links to the Breweries of Walcot in Bath.

The Malthouse has been converted to provide individually designed modern contemporary living within an historic building. Great care has been taken to retain as much of the historical fabric of the building as possible, without compromising the requirements of the 21st century living.
